Otrivin Nasal Spray Contains The Active Ingredient Xylometazoline Hydrochloride 0.1%. This Is A Type Of Medicine Called A Decongestant.When This Medicine Is Sprayed Into The Nose, The Xylometazoline Works By Causing The Blood Vessels In The Linings Of The Nasal Passages And Sinuses To Contract And Narrow. This Decreases Blood Flow Into The Linings Of The Nose And Sinuses, Which Reduces Swelling And The Feeling Of Congestion. It Also Reduces The Production Of Mucus, Helping To Relieve A Blocked Nose.

Before First Use, Remove Protective Cap And Press Applicator Until An Even Spray Is ProducedBlow Nose Gently To ClearInsert Nozzle Into Nostril And Press Applicator Firmly Once While Sniffing DeeplyWithdraw Nozzle And Release ApplicatorRepeat In Other NostrilWipe Nozzle And Replace CapDosage: Shake Well Before UseAdults And Children Over 12: Spray 1 Spray Into Each Nostril Every 8 To 10 Hours (2 To 3 Times Daily) Up To A Maximum Of 3 Times Per Day
